Fractal Art

I've been taking a break from doing macro photography with flowers, and have been playing with fractal art.

My interest in fractals came about from seeing the beautiful work of my dear blogger friend and digital art mentor, Marahm.

So, here are the first five fractals I have created with the permission of Allah (swt).

This is my first attempt:

This one is "Fractal Angel."

This one has no name yet? Have any suggestions?

These next two are black and white fractals:

If you like these fractals, visit me at Flickr. On the right side bar on my blog there is a widget that will take you to my portfolio.

JAK! Marahm's art takes my breath away, Masha Alla. And you are right: she is so helpful. Digital art is such a wonderful halal artform for Muslims!

Salaams Mumina Dear:

BTW, I have your phone message on my machine. I've been crazy busy, and Insha Allah, will phone you tomorrow.

Okay, fractals ...

The first link is where you download the program. It cost $25. There are some free ones, I have heard, but this one, called Tierzon, is extremely user-friendly.

The second link is a Flickr tutorial.

I suggest reading the tutorial first, and then go look at Sis Marahm's Flickr page. You will see the best, Masha Allah, of fractal art on her page.

software and tutorials:

Here is a simple tutorial I found on Flickr:

Keep me posted!

@ Mezba

Insha Allah you and your family are well dear Mezba.

Yes, Fractals are incredible. They occur naturally in Allah (swt) creation. A fern is the best example, I think, of a fractal.

Masha'Allah! I love your fractals! I think the one with no name should be called "The brain". Weird huh?
